NFLD Food Equipment was started in 1999 by George and Mary Thistle. We started the business in our garage after George was laid off by his employer. George has 35 years selling experience in Newfoundland and Labrador, 12 years in the food equipment industry.  He specializes in Dairy Bar set-up and training. For 2 years we worked from home and then decided to move to a store front on Blackmarsh Road.  We did very well there but did not have the space to display our products.

In November of 2003, we made the decision to expand further and moved to our present location  at 3 Monchy Street.  We have 3500 sq. ft. of space.  We are a full equipment dealer selling NEW and USED food service equipment to Newfoundland and Labrador.
